For my summer art, I chose to use photos that I thought evoked strange emotions in the viewer. I feel like I accomplished this in both of my images by using rule of thirds and unusual horizon lines.
For the barn photo, I was in Missouri on a road trip and went out at sunset and shot in HDR for my first time.
The ocean self-portrait was shot in Maine on a partially overcast day. I incorporated the headless portion because I thought that it would hide something that is expected when a body is seen.
The final photo was one that I though would be interesting because I used a telephoto at night and changed the focal point every ten seconds on a 30 second exposure.
I am planning on doing a Concentration series titled: Suspended Personality and basing it off of this photo.
